If you’ve ever wanted to drink Cristal in the VIP room like in music videos but can only afford Krystal’s in the strip mall parking lot…these sites are for you. If you ever wanted to make out with a hot hipster in skinny jeans but could only get to second base with the chubby goth girl that works at Hot Topic that you met at Denny’s…these websites are for you.
Hate on ‘em, make fun, lust after them, feel superior, do what you want. But everywhere there are people drinking and having fun, there’s someone taking pictures. And where there’s someone taking pictures, there’s someone trying to make a sexy face. Nightlife photography is quickly becoming a big business around our world wide web. The following websites present some of the more popular photog sites that bring out the callow celebrity in all of us.
The nothing-but-party (and sometimes hand-soap porn) site of photographer Merlin Bronques. Who according to the myspace page is from Sexual, New York. Sounds Sexual! This site features parties from all over the world but got its start in New York City. Follow the beautiful people as they dance, get drunk and then end up topless on a toilet with an anonymous pink stain on their skirt. Sexual!
Based in Manhattan, photographer Nick Rhodes works as creative consultant and art director for several major publications while devoting his nights to his photography. What started as a way to share pics with friends quickly became a catalogue of some of the biggest parties in Manhattan. What’s Nicky’s goal primero? Keeping it Positive!
You know, now that we’re making this list we realize there is not much difference between these sites. The Cobra Snake has more of the same party pics…only this guy’s name is Mark!

4) 476AD
Okay they’re not all the same. 476AD features user generated content from all over the USA. Type in your hometown and see all the parties you weren’t invited to. All pictures were taken by your local aspiring paparazzi (e.g. future wedding photographers).

5) Dirty Down
This is the personal blog of The Captain, a DJ from Brooklyn. Although he doesn’t bill himself as a photographer, there are some great shots of all kinds of sweaty people from various cities around the world. Follow the life of this globe-stomping DJ.

6) Ambrel.net
Finding the only 6 letter domain left on the internet, Ambrel took his supah photography skills to the clubs. He eventually found fame and magazine covers and as he puts it: ”about 354 copycats of various degrees of talent clogging up toilets of downtown bars. “ Check out homeofthevain.com for Ambrel’s newest work.
I know it says New York in the post title. Chillax. That was just to draw you in. What’s Up BA is an English language magazine and blog all about the wonderful city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The majority of nightlife photos featured on the site are labeled “Zizek Urban Beats Club”. It’s difficult to tell if it’s a club or a band. Either way it looks like all kinds of fun.
EIS features the nightlife photography of Clayton Hauck out of Chicago. I know, yet another blog title mislead. But the brat and mustache capital of the world has a lot of crazy parties going on. Crazier than NYC? Decide for yourself.

9) Junk Mag
In their own words: “Started in 2003 at Oberlin College in Ohio, JunkMag was originally primarily a showcase for R-rated nudey photos of our fellow college students and the occasional musician interview. Today it’s a culture digest that still features such photos and interviews, and much more. Our models are still amateurs and people off the street, and our interviews focus on artists who’ve made themselves what they are. While we have shifted over the years, our philosophy remains the same: put the everyday in front of a lens and it’s undeniably sexy.”

10) Flickr
You can’t talk about online picture compilations these days without mentioning Flickr. The place to steal all your royalty-free blog images is also the place to see the best amateur party pics from around the world.
With the age of film dead and gone and digital camera prices dropping, the trend of taking too many pictures of strangers and friends and toilets and posting them for the world to see (including family) is only going to continue. It is still just a toddler and I recognize this list is limited. With the exception of one or two, we only mentioned sites in the U.S. because, unfortunately, we knew of no others. If you know of any photo compilations in other parts of the world or have any additional sites we need to check out, please let us know in the comments.
